| Interesting scrap of metal--has a quality of paper about it. Casual context seems appropriate. Thought it was the shadow on the left that bothered me about this but it seems to be the little light spot in the bottom left corner instead--go figure. |

| The shadow in the lower left is distracting, and the contrast seems a bit harsh between the bright piece of rust and the fairly dark ground. The blueish object in the top of the frame also distracts from the subject and would have been nice to crop out. |

Nice colors, nice composition, I could do without shadow in lower lefthand corner.

One of the better still life pics in this challenge.
Can't fault it technically. |

| The background is way too distracting. This overhead perspective isn't really doing much to bring out the interesting fomr of th erusty thing. It flattens everything out. |
