This was some strange set of sculptures I saw out of the car window when I was traveling from Portland to Seattle. I was on the freeway, and yes, these were huge!
Processing in CS3:
Color Efex Pro (CEP) Tonal Contrast default value
Again, CEP Tonal Contrast default value
Copy layer, Neat Image to calm down noise, 77% opacity
Copy NI, multiply mode 18% opacity to increase contrast in sky with mask over ground and trees
Copy original NI layer, apply Redfield Fractalius Glow 100 filter (yes, that's the creator of those evil force fields), overlay mode 73% opacity, ground lightly masked out
Hue & saturation to control color
Levels to adjust contrast
New layer soft light mode 80% opacity, paint with white on ground and short trees to create cloudy effect
New layer 50% opacity, paint with pink over flowers
(about this time I came up with the title, and realized I needed more 'good' in the garden than pink flowers, so I thought to turn the statue into an angel)
Add halo and wings to ground statue (they were brushes I found here)
My overlay grainy texture here, overlay mode 85% opacity
My overlay viewfinder here, overlay mode 59% opacity
Resize
Those are the main detials :-)

That's quite the job of processing; thanks for sharing your steps. I just love the moodiness in the picture, and of course that bit of fractalius to create the evil for fields.

Yeah, I noticed the "force field" look too. Wicked cool. All the foreground detail that's lost to the darkness of the original image too...really good.

Good job of processing this to make it look like there is a force field around the objects. This was a good find. The angel in the center stands out nicely in the edited version.
