Greetings from the Critique Club...
I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 6.
My first thought is that I would prefer to see the unopened egg and unfried bacon on the left hand side, as opposed to the right. In western society, we read from left to right, and therefore, if your objects were flipped, it would better follow the "before & after". I like the idea of using depth of field to separate the main subjects from the rest of the scene. Opening up a little wider, if possible, would really help separate the background and the foreground even further. Nice image overall. It makes me want to go get some food.
If you need any clarification on any of my comments, please feel free to pm me. It might take some time for me to get back to you. |

I'll be having that in the morning (if I ever stop commenting of pictures tonight!). Can't beat an egg and bacon sandwich! Only comment on the picture is it feels a little too crowded. |

Great idea, Your white balance is off though. You could adjust afterwards using colour balance, or if you have photoshop you can open in the raw editor even if you shot as a jpg |

Great picture. Shows before and after very well. I feel out of the loop, though; what kind of sandwich is this? Is that bacon? Or ham maybe? |

I like your close crop and setup. The shadows seem kinda harsh though. |

Great idea - I can see why you have used a narrow DOF but I think I would have aimed to try and get the whole of the front of the upper sandwich front edge in focus. |
