| What a wonderful set-up and love your attention to the details when telling the story:-) The little girl by the tree has fallen asleep with the book in hand and dreams of santa & presents in her head (like that little smile she has). Love the place card with Santa's name on it and the cookie crumbs giving us a clue that he had already been there and left. Colors and detail are great!! The book is Dr. Seuss...Green Eggs and Ham. Hmmm, while the food reference is a nice nod to the eaten cookies and the crumbs left on Santa's plate wouldn't "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" been a better choice (especially with the lines refering to crumbs...not even for a mouse and Cindy Lou Who)? |
