wonderful centering with the off-centered flourish of the top of the pipe. Great colors and angle. I'm not sure if the grafitti bothers me or not but the textures are quite nice and it fits the challenge very well.

Very ominous mood in the shot due to the dramatic lighting / shadows. The lack of sharpness works well in this image.

An awesomely powerful image. This belongs in the top ten percent, but is really in a class by itself in this challenge. Nothing I have seen has struck me so powerfully.

I think the graffiti makes this pic--what a thing to place one's ownership on! Intense colors, appropriate depth of field....nice.
