Found these two before-after pine cones in our yard. Amazing what the little squirrels do to these things.

Not really into the 'centered' look but it's a great idea that I may have voted higher if not for the random white spots near the bottom of the 'cones': 8

Wow, that squirrel went to town on that thing! I like the subjects and the idea. However, the lighting could be a little better; The front of the pine cone could use some more. And probably should've cloned out the little dusties at the bottom, too.

I'm not fond of the centered composition. Maybe if you went with a square crop if might look better.
