Location: Starkville, MS

Aperture: 5.6

The background is a microfleece blanket that I bought from Wal-Mart. The lighting is from 1 300 W lamp pointed slightly away from the subject. At first i wanted to do wine and grapes, but after seeing the condition of the grapes....I saw the pomegranates and my wife said, you should do that. I wish the after pomegranate was sharper, but even after increasing the aperture, it didn't help. I really like this picture though. Hope you enjoy!!!!

pp: This one is basically straight from the camera. I bumped up the saturation just a little and adjusted the white balance. In ps, USM and sharpen.

Lighting could be better, especially on the pomegranate on the left.

I think a white background would make those seeds pop out more. As is, a boost of exposure might halp also.

Yum! Great shot of the poms. I think because the pom is so dark, a lighter background could have helped the color pop more, but other than that, well executed and set up shot.
