Greetings from the Critique Club...
I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 6 or 7.
My first thought was that I liked your outtake a lot better, but after comparison, I think they are both well done. The one element I prefer about the outtake is that there is a progression that is easy to follow, where as in this version, the Reeses almost become a sculpture on their own. The square crop was a good choice, and I like how you chose to almost completely fill the frame. If I weren't allergic to chocolate, I'd be running to the store to buy some now.
Keep up the good work.
If you need any clarification on any of my comments, please feel free to pm me. It might take some time for me to get back to you. |

I am really surprised that this didn't score higher. (Art's right; Don't they know there's no wrong way to eat a Reeses??) This is still my favorite in the challenge regardless. Great job. :) |

Love it...the only thing is the back edges of the reeses are slightly out of focus, I don't know if you meant for that to happen or not, but it doesn't take away from the picture |

Great idea, Your white balance is off though. You could adjust afterwards using colour balance, or if you have photoshop you can open in the raw editor even if you shot as a jpg |

This is one of my picks for the front page, for sure. Definitely meets the challenge, is composed well, good lighting and focus, and above all, its delicious! :) |

I love peanut butter and i love chocolate, but i hate them together.
I like the bottom piece and the one with the single bite. I think if you stayed with those it would be more impactful. The top two tiers look messy. |

First of all- that looks delicious- R.PB cups are my fave!!!
I really like this picture a lot- well lit, framed, and especially well set up... I like the crumbles on top of the cups. I do wish the DOF was deeper. I don't mind the backs of the lower cups being out of focus, but I think I would prefer the back of the top cup to be in focus... personal opinion. Overall great shot! |

love this picture! I;m a foodie, so I have a soft spot for food pics. Your lighting is excellent, and the setup is quite original. I like how you made sure there was crumbs, it really adds to the photo. You know you are going to have all the voters wanting a Reese's now, right? =)
I reserve 10's for my personal favorites in a challenge..... -10 |

Yum. More specific lighting would have made this even better. |
