I tried to show Mom your Christmas in Germany series, but dial up did not agree. As I have done before ...Powerpoint is the way to go :) |

Love the decorations - just the inspiration needed for that shopping! |

And being able to steady the camera on the gorillapod gave you wonderful clarity and sharpness to this lovely market night scene. I like the angle looking down at the market for it gives us a clear view of what is inside the stalls but it also gives us a nice view of the decor of the golden flower lights that adorn the booths from above. I have only one tiny critique. I would crop that light post on the far right hand side out of the composition. It is a light that 'distracts' from the other beautiful lights seen in this scene such as the golden flowers and the lights from the christmas tree. In other words it is not complementry to the scene because the light is not festive decorative like the majority of all the other lights in the composition. |

Very pretty - with those fun light things. I love it. Also remember those particular smells. Have you had the Kraeuterzucker? OMG - best stuff ever. We used to get it in a pointy paper bag - hard lumps of sweet deliciousness. And you could only get them at these Christmas markets.
ETA - love the motion blur and the clarity of the image.

Many lights! I like the activity suggested by the ghostly people. |

Oh I love this!!!! Those big "trees", whatever they are, are so cute. I'd love to experience Christmas somewhere in Europe.
I have a gorillapod too, I can't get the hang of it, I think maybe I need a bigger one for my camera (I have the medium sized one). |

Lovely exposure. I am thinking of asking for a gorillapod for Christmas. Do you use it much? |
