Greetings from the Critique Club...
I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 6. Had this image been in a different challenge, not relating to stars, I would probably have given you a 7 or 8.
Who cares about the challenge, this image speaks volumes. I love it. A great capture of emotion that seems to have a story behind it. I understand the route you were taking in terms of fitting the challenge, but I think it would be difficult to classify this actor a star, unless he is well known to most people. The exposure is gorgeous, the neutral background is divine, and the crop works very well at keeping my attention focused on the right hand side of the photograph.
Great photo. I look forward to seeing more of your photographs.

| excellent portrait image - the missing left hand is unfortunate giving the image a somewhat unbalanced feel - but considering the character being portrayed - it probably fits! |
