 this mightnt appeal to a lot of ppl .. its just a dog shot after all .. but wot the heck ..
this is katee when i was taking photographs in the grass yesterday .. i had the 100mm with an extension tube on the camera which meant that i cant focus any further away than about 2ft or so .. this shot of katee is as far away as i could get and still keep her in focus ..
she is the best little dog .. i told her to stay because there was an insect i wanted to photograph which would fly away if disturbed .. when i looked back at katee she was lying down in the grass so i started taking photographs of her instead of the insect !! .. she stayed in this pose for a while .. she's very good at putting up with a flash going off in her eyes ..

katee passed away on 14th June 2019 nearly 17 years old .. :(

Ah, what a sweet, long suffering doggie :-) The things you put her through....LOL! I like seeing the real Katee, patiently keeping her mom company while she pays FAR too much attention to little bitey things in the brush..

She must be a very patient dog. My dogs HATE my camera. Not sure if it is the clicking or just the oddness of it. She is very cute.

hehe, for some reason this one makes me chuckle. I think it's the expression on her face. The half squinting eyes and the layed back ears! I think she's part human, I'd love to know what she's thinking! : )

What a good girl to cooperate like that. You have lovely dof and colour, and no harsh shadows. It's a really nice picture.

This is a bit different - Katee just sitting there! The flash did a great job bringing out the colors and detail; and I've been a big fan of fill flash lately. That means, of course, that I didn't get out to shoot for the current challenge!
