Maybe this should be called 'Just Chillin' because that's the feel it radiates. All the toys relaxing in the sun, not a care in the world.
Your images frequently carry a simple profundity about them - the feeling that they are so much more than a moment of whimsy, but rather the entrance to a whole story, leaving the viewer with a desire to know what is happening - or going to happen next; to learn something of the background or characters.
Always a delight. |

Great antique look in the processing really complements the antique toys. |

Woke up this morning with light in my eyes
And then realized it was still dark outside
It was a light coming down from the sky
I don't know who or why
Must be those strangers that come every night
Those saucer shaped lights put people uptight
Leave blue-green footprints that glow in the dark
I hope they get home all right
Hey, Mr. Spaceman
Won't you please take me along
I won't do anything wrong
Hey, Mr. Spaceman
Won't you please take me along for a ride
Woke up this morning, I was feeling quite weird
Had flies in my beard, my toothpaste was smeared
Over my window, they'd written my name
Said, so long, we'll see you again

You have the most amazing collection of odd toys and things! The unique subject matter coupled with your distinctive processing makes for a fantastic series. You really should make a book of these! |

Great toys; I remember playing with a top like that at my grandmother's house. Thanks for the memory :-) |

Lovely to see Mr.Robert out again. I was cleaning my son's room today and dusted off his robot - must think about photographing him! |
