The concept is stong, and I'm also fond of the angle. In my opinion, though, the shot would have been better served by a much tighter crop, and less of an overall gradient in the lighting (the keys in the foreground are too washed out, while the keys in the background are too dark). A crop encompassing, say, F# through C would have probably served you better.

The idea is good but picture is not...

Good idea. would have like a lower angle...natural lighting with no flash

nice idea, but the keys in the foreground are overexposed a bit.

Nice shot, great framing, the lighting is a little sharp... good job!

This is definately a good idea for "opposite" colors, but it would be fun if you had taken the picture down the row of all the keys with the sharp focus in the middle or at one of the ends.

The idea is ok but poorly performed. Think more even lightning would have been better and a closer angel. Maybe some experimenting with DOF would also have given you a better result.

Classic! I never tire of shots like these... unfortunatly, I think the drum kit markings on this Casio keyboard detract from the overall picture. All in all, though, great shot.

Nice perspective. There's some distraction in the lower left corner which would have been nice to eliminate. Also a little extra shadow on the keys which a second light source might have helped with. Finally, I think it needs more sharpness.

classic shot. nice lighting and angle. I like the way the white keys are fading to black in the distance, with the gaps staying bright. The percussion symbols definitely detract, though.... the red felt of a traditional grand would've been less distracting.

Simple concept, but great composition.

Both the composition and the uneven lighting detract from the picture.

Interesting perspective. The uneven lighting detracts from this image though.

a "real" old piano would have been cooler. 6
