 been raining all day .. when it stopped for a while i went out in the long grass and took some photographs of insects ..
thankyou to nick nixter for the use of his web texture ..

used Canon Speedlight 580EXII with added plastic diffuser fitted over it - a Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce ..
also Canon Extension Tube EF12II ..

Great angle - he sits so calmly there on such a steep drop - the eye follows right up that leaf.

Is this the shot you were trying to take while Katee was waiting patiently in the grass? This is a great shot. I enjoying taking these shots. They can be very rewarding when properly captured.
