Greetings from the Critique Club...
I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 6 or 7.
Technically speaking, this is a wonderful photograph. The framing is perfect, the exposure is great, and the choice of duotone simplifies an otherwise busy scene. The thing I like the most about this photograph is the contrast between the dark sky/buildings and the bright white snow. While it is an awesome image, and it does have a few stars in it, there are some other images I would have scored higher based on the fact the stars were more dominant. There are a few images which have less of a star pressence, but the images would be significantly different if you removed the star(s). I think your image would hold up on it's own if the stars were removed. This is would stop me from giving your image one of my top 3 votes.
Overall, great image, and congrats on your top 10 finish.
If you need any clarification on any of my comments, please feel free to pm me. It might take some time for me to get back to you. |

I like it but because it took me more then a second to see the star, I'll go with a 9. |

Makes the eye hunt a bit - I really like it; it makes you feel as if you are actually outside - the snow looks like it is lit by a full moon. |

I love the duotone. I really like this image, and I would have rated it higher if the stars had been more prominent. Sill a 7. |
