| Was looking at your profile and even the thumb for this one stands out. Like the others who have commented, this is a wonderful shot. I like how you've captured the "duality" (if you will) of the coldness of winter and the warmth from the sun. Excellent image. |

| I agree with what others have said this makes a wonderful postcard, calendar shot and/or holiday card. Heh, you could make it all three products. Love how the way the sunlight comes across the ice towards you. The photo is very nicely composed. The reeds peeking out of the snow in the bottom right is an interesting juxtaposition to the sun peeking out from the horizon in the left hand slightly above the middle of the composition. The house/barn with the pine tree lightly dusted with snow on the right is very pictureque! The border complements the scene because it's frost edges matches the wintery feel and mood of the composition. |

| This is beautiful! If you layer a set of lights on the tree on the right, it would make a superb Christmas card. It's a great calendar shot just the way you have it posted. It would look rather timeless if you erase the power line. |

I could see this as a nice canvas hanging in an office somewhere. Very pretty.
Edit to add
Put some text down in the lower corner that says Happy Holidays 2008 and you have a great post card or Holiday card. Maybe submit this to a stock site. I'd bet it would get picked up.
