Very interesting take on the challenge - old school/high tech. I like the exposure - I know some will think it's a little overexposed but I think it gives the shadows a nice techy quality that's appropriate for the concept of the shot. I like the perspective too.

you should have cropped out the bottom of the photo to make the image stronger. your eyes get drawn to the lightest point in the image, it is a shame that it is at the bottom of the frame

It looks like the flash was used on this. A really good concept, but the implementation left something to be desired. Keep at it!

this is one of the better of the slightly oversharpened chess board pics i've seen so far. the game boy adds an interesting twist. this would score a point or two higher without the uneven white border.

Very nice idea for this contest and a great photo. Since all of the action is on the board itself, you could crop almost the entire bottom half of the photo to give it more impact. Nice shot!
