| A wonderfully executed macro shot - I love how well we can see through the chex and all the way through the donut thing. The composition is a little less than interesting, perhaps more variation in the background or more isolation would have helped. |

| Back to this one again. I have pulled this one up 4 different times trying to figure out just what about it is bother me. I like the opposite of the square vs. round but something in the shot just doesn't sit quite right for some reason. I'm thinking it might be the background cereal for some reason. It's distracting to me personally and I think this would look better with just the two peicies or maybe the 4, the two to be the models and the two behind to hold them up. Also the reflection on the surface or shadows are a bit distracting to me. I started this at a 3 but am raising it to a 6, it's a great effort and with some tweeking I think it could be an awesome shot to me personally :) |

| Items have minimal interest in themselves, so need more dramatic composition and color to make up for it. |

Hmmm I bet this took some work yet it holds vey little interest for me .
The color contrast is so so,
It meets the challenge criteria yet falls kinda flat IMO
Great focus,set up.
Sorry a 5 from me

| I'm sorry, I did score you fairly low (3). While I thought that your idea was adorable, I think that the colors and the reflection beneath them distracted a bit. Also, I think it might have been stronger if the squares had all been on one side, the circles on the other. Additionally, if you'd done this in black and white, it might have been an even stronger "Opposites" shot, simply because the square is so light, the circle so dark. Anyway, I wanted you to know that while I gave it a low score, I do appreciate your idea and your effort. :) |
