Greetings from the Critique Club...
It's me again!
I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 6. Then, after voting was over, I would have wished I had voted it higher.
I like this photograph because, although I can't define it, it has the qualities of a star. Perhaps it's a microscopic view of a star. Perhaps the ice droplets are representations of stars. It also reminds me of a large sunning giving off rays of light. It's very difficult for me to offer contructive criticism as you have focused on the qualities of a star, as opposed to an image of a star. There is nothing I can say that would improve this photograph. I will say that this type of image holds my interest a lot more than one one which is clearly defined. I think it's a great image, and I enjoy being challenged by your interpretations.
Great shot and keep up the good work.
If you need any clarification on any of my comments, please feel free to pm me. It might take some time for me to get back to you. |

I actually see it, but this one definitely has the FL misunderstood flavor. Good find. |

78th? What is wrong with people? Why am I only one of 9 voters to score this 7-or-higher? |

Very abstract and not bad as such, but doesn't really meet challenge criteria in my opinion. |

If voters read the challenge description before they voted this should end up on the front page. However, I'm guessing it ends up on the next to last page (where all the art is). Wonderful image. -10 |

It's an interesting image but it doesn't really say look at me I'm a star. |

that is some cool ice you got there - quite out of the box - but I can imagine the stars being consumed here |

I just commented on another shot and then found those comments in the comment section of this shot. Forgive me if you received comments from me on this shot already - but they did not pertain to your shot. The following comments do:
I'm having trouble blending the subject with the title. Assuming this is a shot of ice, I can see a sort of radiating freeze pattern - but it's not quite clear what the pattern is in the upper left corner of the frame. |

Looks like ice. Nice detail in it but having a hard time seeing stars. |
