While you are right that there is not much contrast between the berries and background, for me the lighting on the berries is wonderful and makes them stand out. You just need some fresher berries I guess :-) |

A few of them look damaged, not plump and pretty. I'm not entirely surprised they didn't taste all that great, either ;-) |

Hmm, that guy in the front doesn't look so appetizing. The dark blue-on-black background is a great idea though. |

They look a little "pruney" and dehydrated. I still like the low key effect the tone-on-tone set up creates. From the thumbnail, it looked really mysterious. Is that a water stains on the left of the top of the pyramid? My eye keeps coming back to it... |
