Greetings from the Critique Club...

I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 5. If this were in any other challenge other than bokeh, I would have scored it at least a 7.

First of all, let me say that this is a beautiful portrait. I like the overall lightness to this photograph, and the focus is very sharp. I am a big fan of black & white portraits, as they allow the viewer to focus on the emotions of the photo, instead of all the little details. Her eyes are very beautiful. While I can see a little bokeh, it really isn't strong enough, or enhance the photo enough to warrant a high score in this challenge. All in all, lovely photograph.

Cute model! Her arm seems to be OOF but the B&W were great! I like the bokeh too, but it should be more notable.

Nice portrait. The DOF is very nice, however, I don't think the background is significant enough to warrant a high score in a bokeh challenge. Basically the only way it enhances the image is by isolating the child.
