I'm glad to hear you are creating things that are first and foremost meaningful to yourself and not worrying too much about critics. This is one of those shots that can stir opposing emotions, depending on the viewer. And I feel like I'm looking at the scene through one of those old green-glass bottles. |

I get the sense of legs treading water... love the emerald green and deep blue. I love side challenges too; I would most likely never see such an amazing image as this in a 'real' challenge. |

Wow - I so love this - absolutely stunning. For one, I'm partial to feet in a photo. The processing is to die for. Congratulations on this amazing image. |

Love it, the shadows (or so the appear) are magical. Not so sure about the green, but it does heighten the sense of wonder and dream quality. |

Isn't it a rush, when you lean back in your chair, totally impressed with your work, & think 'gawd I'm good!' And isn't it great to set yourself free to try & knock your own socks off? Yesss! It's knocking my socks off, too--I see it as young ones running pell-mell into the future, laughing as they go. Very emotional. Curious how the emotion seems to intensify as different shots layer together. |

I can see why this would move you. Sort of a representation of the fleeting carefree joy of childhood. As parents we all know that time goes by way too fast and leaves us with shadows of memories. Parenting is a bittersweet journey; if it all goes as planned, these wonderful little beings will be off on their own for most of their lives, leaving us to ours. |
