Poor little hummingbird usually spends his time in a bush above our woodshed but the snow and windchill of -20 sent him down to perch on this rope hanging off the side of the woodshed.

He was about 7 ft away, right at eye level.

This is really sharp, the detail in the rope and the little hummer is fantastic. Very nice image.

Sugar water work just as well. 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Much cheaper and will keep them satisfied and healthy.

I really like this. You don't generally see them sitting still. Excellent detail and light, and the clothes pin serves nicely to set the scale - to show just how small this little guy is.
