Converted to B&W then used a CS3 sketch filter, reduced in opacity to about 45%. Just playing around with processing.

Taken from the ferris wheel they have set up for the Christmas market. Unfortunately, can't see the Christmas market from the wheel...

Note - the reason there are no cars is the majority of German cities have their central business district/shopping area as pedestrian only.

LOVE the way you converted this! It's just beautiful, and the road really seems to take me in and around just a bit. Nicely done.

I like this a lot. It looks totally retro except for the building under construction.

Beautiful view of an old city. Nice editing job! And about the Christmas market: luckily there are webcams, although not as nice as your photos.

And how many times did you say you rode on that Ferris wheel? Cool shot and very interesting processing. I wonder what this scene would look like at night....?

A city shot with NO CARS! Makes it rather timeless and the processing enhances that.

Looks like a shot straight out of the 30's....think it would also look good in sepia tones.
