 The usual Camera RAW adjustments, ran noise ninja, burned shadows a touch on the drumsticks, sharpened sticks and wood grain a bit to bring them out.

The snare is placed where snares usually don't belong--in front of the bass drum. Hopefully either no one will notice or no one will be bothered by that.

Not a fan of the composition - everything being cut off. Maybe if you didn't crop the sticks it would leave something in tact. Just my preference though. I like the dof.

I like the focus on the drum to the right and how it is oof in the center...good lighting and I like the ACW....

That looks like a fun present! But more specific lighting would have made the depth and focus more interesting by drawing our eye to the snare in front.

The first thing I see is the snare and then I follow my eyes to the point of the drumsticks (which are very sharp btw). The only thing I don't like is how the sharp side of the image is on the right, and the left is blurry. Usually you read left to right and so it just feels uncomfortable to do it the other way around.
