The Image: I fell in love with watches at Koh Samui and bought a few replicas. I REALLY fell in love with the Omega watch and found an advertisement for the Omega Seamaster 'Quantum of Solace' limited edition watch. I decided to use my Breitling Replica to do a similar image as the Omega ad. Happy with the result...

The Edit: Just the basic stuff...USM, a Gaussian Blur adjustment layer and mask, some selective sharpening, a black and white adjustment layer to reveal the colour face and a little bit of colour on the band (I wanted the rest of the image to be black and white)...some contrast, some levels adjustment...

The prediction: Haven't been travelling well, so I am going to hope to get a 6 for this. I think the black negative space will be the subject of discussion perhaps...

Post: Oh well...

I think this was under-rated Enzo (I gave it a 7), but I find the slightly soft focus on parts of the face distracting. I'm sure it would have scored better if you had taken a few separate shots with different points of focus and combined them in post to increase the DOF on the face of the watch (like Scarbrd did on image ).

well lightened and shot, very good detail. the OOF foreground sklightly distracts; i feel there's a bit too much negative space at top.

I like that this almost looks like B&W but then you see the little hint of red and gold...

GREAT product shot. Perfect use of dof and lighting, the tilt adds some interest, no question where the focal point is.

Nice. Looks worthy of a high end fashion magazine ad.
