This is a portrait I shot from a recent headshot shoot and the model gave me permission to use it for tutorial. I have been preparing it for some time now, but am not quite done.
I have uploaded the full size original and edited versions of the photo for people to play with if they want to.
The original photo was lit with 3 lights. One with an umbrella lighting her face from my upper left and her upper right, a softbox on very low to bring up the shadows on the other side of her face and a bare light in the background for a back light on her hair.
I am not sure if DPC is going to accept the tutorial I made. It is a series of 3 swf files that are screen shot videos of my editing steps. It is about 14 minutes of video total and the files are HUGE! If someone has a way to make the files smaller that would most likely be really helpful. I am going to submit them to the site council soon to see what they have to say.
