Does give a 'grim' look, but maybe not as haunting as desired.
Perhaps if the camera was close to the ground, and a wider lens was used,
it would make the shadow in the foreground more threatening.
The shadows should be the first thing to catch the eye, but the brightness & positioning of the facing surfaces make you see the shadow later. |

| The highlights are a bit blown, and the composition doesn't quite feel right but the elements of the image are great. I like the way the shadows lead one into the image and then the pattern is repeated with the actual tombs. The pattern is repeated again with the trees in the background. The image would probably be better without the two foreground trees. Very well seen, you have produced a fascinating image. |
