 Just converted it into a black and white image using Adobe lightroom 2.0 and then adjusted a little bit for the contrast using curves. was originally shot at evening time around 5 pm.

I don't find this a particularly interesting subject. I think the shadow would have been better in a lower light (as in lower down) to stop it taking on that weird shape across the ledge.

I think the distortion in the angle takes away from a good photo

I so want to love this picture, but it's not coming together for me. The bw works. The texture of the stone works. The detail of the window grid works. But the broken shadow doesn't. The white splotch on the left is distracting. I'm conflicted :-(
