Lots of weeds in the yard right now, this is just one of them. This is not at all my style, thought I'd try something different. I liked this so much that I took a bunch more weed shots and tried the same processing on all of them to try to create some kind of cohesive set, but none of them turned out so well.
Processing:
Crop
Color Efex Pro darken/lighten center
Color Efex Pro Duplex
Color Efex Pro Film Effects, Kodak 100UC
Color Efex Pro Color Stylizer, Cool Silver 3
Soft light layers to paint in white to dodge (like on tufts) and paint in black to burn (background shiny bits)
Create new layer of all below with ctrl+alt+shift+e, then Ortonize it (unsharp mask pretty strongly, create duplicate set to screen and merge, copy that merged layer and set to mulitply then gaussian blur around 15, mask out bits and adjust opacity to taste)
Merge the Ortonized layers then adjust opacity so un-ortonized layer shows through
Add border

Unusual border - and I LOVE IT. Really mood evoking. Don't you adore that lighten darken thing? Have you tried the reflector filters? that is the best bunch of software EVER.
