The over-exposed works really well here. The contrast and the expression are very complimentary. Not sure about the unequal contrast of the posts. |

I like the idea of the back lighting. I think just a bit more exposure on his face would have worked better - I really want to see more detail on that marvelous expression he happens to have going on. |

Good shot, particularly like the blown out background contrasting against the wood, which frames the subject nicely. My only complaint is that there's a little too much shadow in the mans face, perhaps a reflector to just add a touch more light while maintaining the overall look would have been good. |

interesting...i can see the businessman in him. instinct would have me light his face better. but for some reason i think the dark face works here...8 |

This has great potential. I like his pose and expression. The background is far too bright such that we can't see his face very well. You might have cropped for less background so your camera could meter more on his face, used a reflector or maybe popped in a tiny bit of fill flash. Great framing and composition had the background not been so bright. |
