It's a puffin :-))) Is it possible for a puffin to look anything other than adorable? Doesn't exactly look designed for flight and the little bumps on takeoff reinforce that.

Love those splashes. He must have been moving pretty fast for them to still be hanging like that. It is a great capture of something so fleeting.I think that the image is more important than technical perfection, but this would make me happy in any respect.

He must have been moving pretty quick for you to get so many little foot splashes, and in consideration of that, I think you've done a pretty good job of stopping the little fella.
