Shot with a clear plastic leaf/trash bag in front of the camera for diffusion. Window light camera left with a slight boost from a shoot-through umbrella and speedlight. I had scribbled with colored markers on the plastic to see if the blotches of out-of-focus colors might be interesting. It didn't really work as I had planned but you can see a reddish color streak across her hair and a purple blob at the bottom by her scarf. Both seemed to work out okay but I don't think I'd do it again.

Post processing was minimal...
Camera Raw - white balance, exposure, blacks
CS4 - curves, noise reduction, border, save for web

I know from the challenge that this was taken through some object, however if I were looking at this shot out of context then it would just look like a blurry photo.
