 The Pug is a small breed of dog with a wrinkly, short muzzled face . The word "pug" may have come from the Old English pugg or "puge", which were affectionate terms for a playful little devil or monkey. Pug puppies are often called puglets. The breed is often summarized as "multum in parvo" ("much in little"), describing the Pug's remarkable personality despite its small size.

Great shot, Linda. Bernhard Victor Christoph Carl von Bülow, more commonly known under the pseudonym Loriot, is a German humorist, graphic artist, film director, actor and writer. He is also a great pugs fan and once said "a life without pugs is possible but meaningless". Every time I see one of your pug shots I always think of this ;-)

Lighting seems a little on-axis for my tastes--the dog has catchlights in the center of its eyes, which never looks all that great.
