Really like the colors and capture of the mighty ocean churning out this magnificent wave. Especially like the spray and 'mash'.

Gnarly waves 8) Any chance you coul've cropped in on the tube action? A longer landscape oriented crop could work here too. Or at least crop off a but more from the botton, above where the curve of the tracks end. 8

Wow, this is wonderful! Great light on the wave, really bringing out the wonderful turquoise colours. Love the capture of the spray caught by the wind. And that yellow swathe of sand in the foreground contrasts nicely with the colours of the water and sky. Though I'd say the colours feel a touch too far saturated for my tastes. ANd of course, those almost silhouetted foreground observers add the perfect focal point, though they perhaps distract a little from the surfer in the sea.

Exceptional photo. Great to have a foreground subject in what would otherwise be a less interesting seascape. Sand/beach color is nicely complimentary with the break and ocean beyond. Texture of the wind blown break and the water there are neat. Well done.

Great capture of an amazing wave and surfer. I think I might like this as a closer crop, cutting off the dull sky and the person in the water to the right. It might look funny though if the surfer was running into the edge of the frame, so who knows. You may have done the right thing by keeping the entire wave in the shot.

Fabulous shot that documents and allows us to enjoy the full drama, rather than the more predictable telephoto of the guy on the board. hope it does well for you

Interesting variation on the surfer shot. The tire tracks and people at the bottom left balance the surfer well, although cutting out the negative space to the right of the surfer and the sky might actually make this a stronger photo. It may be cool to try.
