 Ducks have knees! A mallard male at the edge of Lake Estes. I was trying to capture an interesting image of "sand", with little success. This guy got into my photo. I liked the image better than the "sand" photos. But, of course, he is standing on the sand beach.

Terrific colors here. Any more saturation though would have been too much.

Nice wave action making patterns in the water. Love the leaf. The duck looks a bit static, perhaps if his eye was less shadowed.
