| Not sure how the title fits here but the shot works well for the challenge, alive vs. dying. A nice shot but nothing special to hold my attention. A tighter crop to put more focus on the two flowers might help and a slight boost in contrast and colors might really help this shot pop. As is a 3 |

| The thought behind the topic is strong. However, I find the paleness of the walkway too distracting to keep my attention on the shot at hand. Shot from another angle, producing a flatter background, could have provided the strength this shot needed. |

| A tighter crop would have made this a stronger image. Just enough to get rid of the piece of rose you can see in the bottom left. Fits the challenge :) Nice image. |

| Pretty rose. Would have cropped the bottom a bit to get that other bud out of the shot, and (I know you couldn't do anything about it) wish the BG was all the beautiful greenery. Good portrayal of opposites. |

| I find the diagonal line across the background distracting, as it's right at eye level with the subjects. Also I might have cropped out the rose in the lower left corner. |
