Not sure how you achieved the colours here, but I really like them. Actually I like this a lot |

Anywhere...western U.S. really. A comforting sight really, feels like home! |

What I enjoy about this so much is the purity of color...clean and crisp...like an era of long ago. I definitely agree with Robert about the Kodachrome. That may be what makes me recall another era. My grandfather amassed a massive collection of slides through his life and I still love going through the pictures from 50+ years ago and the color is still so crisp and new. |

Beautiful light you've captured and the nice simple treatment makes this a rustic gem. Cheers |

Simple and lovely. I'm especially fond of the pale color palette and the sense of serene movement. |

Spot on and haunting. I have always had an affinity for older windmills, probably b/c they seems to exude a certain loneliness and this is no exception. The lens adds a nice motion that complements the windmill. |

WOW - this could be any place in west Texas. Love the bleached out feel. |

Just about perfect. There's often a sense of misplaced optimism that attends windmills (more correctly, windpumps, I suppose), and you've expressed that mood of desperate, lonely perseverance beautifully here.
And to second the motion made by bear_music in the LB forum, I can't see how this same thing could be done in Photoshop. Nor can I think why anyone should try. |

Very nice. The bar is being set rather high for us rookies.

This is interesting. The Lensbaby seems to capture the wind. |

Zowie! I love this! Quite different from some of the darker LB shots (including mine) that are posted. Great job. |

Oh, are you ever gonna have fun with this! It's as though the windmill is blowing away everything in front of it. |

Boy, does that ever have the "old Kodachrome" effect nailed. Pretty eerie image. |
