 Shot a series of these mid December w/ my daughter. She held the camera and popped off a few. I set up a white piece of paper on a clothes drying rack just to the left for a slight reflection.

I think had my aperture been 2.8 I would've had it a bit sharper on the left side. Ah well. I tend to like shallow depth and pushing the limits of it.

Nice lighting in this portrait. Interesting choice of background color as it echos the color of the shirt. The subject is definitely engaged in the shot. I'd like to see a bit more room on the left. (Understanding of course that with a self-portrait its hard to frame your shot).
