I love it. I only wish I could be this creative! Good Work, love the lighting and the reflection of the red onto the backdrop! 10 if I could still vote!

You got me!
11/04/2002 04:02:00 PM
Even though a lot of people figured out that it was Jello, you should be very proud of the fact that there were so many people who took the time to wonder how you did it! Well done -- congrats on the #5 finish!

11/01/2002 11:40:00 AM
Neat idea; i first thought you really worked hard to get this shot, then I realized maybe your froze the liquid. clever.
10/31/2002 05:03:00 PM
creative
10/31/2002 02:23:00 PM
I´m thinking maybe u put yelly in the glasses or they r fake ones bought this way...if it's not something like that..I have no idea.... a really good job
10/31/2002 12:19:00 PM
Great! My guess is: gelatin in the cups?

your concept here is excellent... I love the photo... the lighting on the glasses is a bit strange though... good work!! - setzler
10/30/2002 11:54:00 AM
Is it jello in the wine glasses? cute.
10/29/2002 11:05:00 PM
ha ha ha..very clever (as I spill my wine).
10/29/2002 07:13:00 PM
Whty didn't I think of that? Jello? 8
10/29/2002 03:53:00 PM
Very well done. Impressive.
10/29/2002 02:40:00 PM
Jello? Cute idea. 7, just-married
10/29/2002 12:22:00 PM
clever "tilt" here. would have preferred a different backdrop (but doesn't affect my vote) great shot well executed! (8) ~mcmurma
10/29/2002 10:03:00 AM
This shot would work better if you would seperate the back glass from the bottle.
10/29/2002 08:42:00 AM
Is that Jello? GReat IDea
10/29/2002 08:02:00 AM
Very nice. Wish there was a bit more light in the back. Nevertheless, good illusion!
10/29/2002 07:38:00 AM
This is a great photo. I'm still not sure exactly how you did it, but it looks like the glass at the back has some wine leaking out on the right hand side...? So I'm guessing that you've used some sort of clear plastic disc on top of the wine to hold it in place? Either that, or you placed the glasses at an angle in the freezer beforehand, and froze the wine that way. This would probably have produced a 'frosted' effect, but I'm guessing you could get clear ice by boiling the wine beforehand, just like you can do with water.

Oh - I've just had another thought. It could be jelly!!!! Whichever way you've used, it's a great illusion and deserves a 9.
10/29/2002 04:47:00 AM
Excellent 'illusion', and a well composed shot. seasick - 7.
10/29/2002 02:06:00 AM
This is really cool! How did you do that?

10/29/2002 01:05:00 AM
OK , this is jello, right? Good onr!
10/29/2002 12:17:00 AM
Awesome idea. Share the setup next week, ok? The light is a little too glaring (those hot spots), but otherwise it's excellent. ~indigo997
10/28/2002 09:07:00 PM
Excellent concept.
10/28/2002 08:47:00 PM
AMAZING!
10/28/2002 07:43:00 PM
Excellent idea. A different background would have worked better though, I think. One other nit pick is that I would have liked to have the condensation wiped from the glasses just before the shot.
10/28/2002 06:52:00 PM
Very original! Good use of light. I would've moved the bottle or the glass so that they don't touch. Did you freeze some Jello?? :o) 9
10/28/2002 06:41:00 PM
Looks like jello in the wine glasses to create the illusion. Good photo, though. Especially like the wine going in opposite directions in the glasses. Clean, clear, crisp, good color, like background. Good photo.
10/28/2002 06:30:00 PM
Anybody up for jello shots? This is one of my favorites this week, and my first 10 of the week.
10/28/2002 06:18:00 PM
what a fine vintage of jello
10/28/2002 06:15:00 PM
Looks cool, did you use Jello? I have to score this one high.
10/28/2002 05:21:00 PM
Great illusion, but I'm not to fond about all the disturbing reflections though.
10/28/2002 04:39:00 PM
lol CLEVER........wonderful, fantastic, great going. LOVE your idea. Justine 9
10/28/2002 03:56:00 PM
If I thought about this picture long enough, I might figure out how you did it. =-) 9/10!
10/28/2002 03:26:00 PM
jello? Like that you used two different glasses with two different slants.
10/28/2002 02:55:00 PM
that is great! 9--shutterfly
10/28/2002 02:54:00 PM
Very cool! Frozen wine? Good trick any way you cut it! 9 Swash
10/28/2002 02:35:00 PM
Hmmm, jello? maybe? Great shot. Something seems a bit off in the composition to me. Not sure what, so I will get back to you if I figure it out. Very nice work. karmat
10/28/2002 02:08:00 PM
Jello?
10/28/2002 01:41:00 PM
well done.. jelly in the glasses???? good effort, 8 marksimms
10/28/2002 12:44:00 PM
Illegal use of jelly! Not fair! Im also docking points for the ugly backdrop and poor composition. You could have used the light passing through the glasses to make it look better. I'd have swapped the top glass with the corkscrew to help balance things up. The corkscrew points out of the frame. The lower glass points to the corkscrew, rather than back at a major compostional element. 7 (good, but I wouldnt put it on the wall)
10/28/2002 12:10:00 PM
Did this with Jello? hehe... very creative! I'm not keen on the lighting and the focus seems a little soft. bamaster (7)
10/28/2002 11:15:00 AM
I like the clarity, colors and composition. Good one.
10/28/2002 11:04:00 AM
Jello?? Nicely done -- I like the shots that are making me think! Well composed, too.
10/28/2002 10:28:00 AM
good concept--nice image--9bobgaither
10/28/2002 10:27:00 AM
Jello? Great idea! The "wine" is almost too kool-aid bright red, and the shadows are a little distracting. Clever idea and composition is good, though. 6 kathleenm
10/28/2002 09:47:00 AM
Great idea. I like the fact that the glasses' contents are tipping either way. Jello? That's my first thought. Wish I thought of it first. Nice job - Inspzil
10/28/2002 09:31:00 AM
Very clever. Another one I look forward to seeing an explanation for.
10/28/2002 06:26:00 AM
very good illusion but i know how you did it
10/28/2002 04:59:00 AM
Hats off for this one. Really well done.
10/28/2002 12:35:00 AM
