5.1 - here I come!

Post: haha. I usually shoot wide open so I don't have to worry about sensor dust. Thanks to those who pointed it out.

I am sure you will get comments about the sensor dust...but very beautiful capture.

I'm not a big fan of the flares. You seem to have some dust on the sensor.

nice...I would have boosted the contrast a little more, but that's just me...

Nice sunburst and composition with lovely shadows and good tonal range

The effect of the sun and the shadows is striking.

This was probably the best FS of 2008 and this is one of the best in there. not sure if some will ding you because of the minor lens flare, but I think it adds to the image, really enjoyed this alot.

Hmmm? Very similar to my entry in a way. I wonder what people are saying about this. I'll tell you the score of mine for now - it's been from 5.05 to 4.80. I would rate your photo much higher if not for the sensor dust spots I can see. As is, one point for each prominent spot: 6

I like the image, but am distracted by what appears to be sensor dust or water droplets on the lens, as well as the tint to the snow. Great sun capture though.

The scene feels a little flat to me and there are artifacts around the sun (moon?) that bother me. I don't mind the lens flair but there seems to be a dark circle that corresponds roughly to the diameter of the rays.

Great shot...Next time you may want to clone out the sensor dust.
