I'm using a Lensbaby 2.0 and can have a hard time managing the sweet spot. I didn't get anything in focus in this one, but I like the way everything is whooshing to the left, "going with the flow", as it were.

I love your images! The B&W, the blur, the composition...

hehe, a wonky out of focus image yet it conveys many a story, I could sit and just immerse myself in this image for ages :)

I like the two halves here. Neither side looks joyful, but the side he's leaving looks a bit more ominous. Kind of like one of those dreams where you keep looking for the way out.

Great conversion. I have the same Lensbaby as you.

Spooky. Looks like a dark intruder. I like the effect you got.

Wonderfully mysterious, and sometimes no sweet spot is perfectly sweet!

I agree with everyone else. There doesn't always have to be a point of sharp focus. The figure walking gives this a point of interest and provides a sense of movement to go with your blurry composition. Nice work! Happy New Year!!!

Well sometimes it's just fine when nothing is in focus. I like the form of the dark figure. Nice, subtle sense of mystery.

No focus on this shot works and works well imo. The slight angle to the left, the lensbaby motion/blur and the ghostly figure all draw you to wonder where he/she is heading, what's around the corner, very nice b&w.

Woo! Welcome to 2009. I've already been here for 18 hours & 39 minutes and it seems OK so far.

The right half of this picture looks like something by Igor Posner (and that's as good as it gets, for me). The left half is a little less compelling.

Happy New Year, G.
