As I look at this, I keep thinking about how I don't want to be the person inside the building... being watched from someone or something that is hiding in the low weeds outside my door.
Feels like the eerie first scene of a stalker movie, but tempered a bit, and kept from being fully scary by the colors and the light.
I really love that this picture made me feel.. not just look and comment about the technical brilliance or inadequacies of an image. Well seen! |

Creates a sense of intrigue - are we waiting for someone to come out? Deciding whether to go closer and explore further? |

The point of view does harken back to childhood days spent in low-to-the-ground hiding places. We seldom view life from this vantage point as adults. If looked at through an adult perspective, it takes on a somewhat voyeuristic quality. I'm wondering what's going on behind that door that's worth laying in wait for. |

I like the color and the way this is all jumbled and tumbled. |

You keep taking me back to my childhood. It's a long journey in my case, but I'm happy to keep making it if you're happy to keep buying me the tickets like this. |
