 This is my 12 year old. He is so... full of attitude!! Even more than my 13 year old!

PP:

A little healing brush to take out some imperfections and a cloning of a huge chunk of hair that was sticking out

History brush set to resize and brush over all but eyes, nose, and mouth.

Lighting was an umbrella light pretty close to him just to the right and a spot on the bg.

Beautiful depth of field, normally I don't like shallow depth of field with studio lighting but this works very well!

This whole series of color portraits is really beautiful. I like the composition and the DOF. His expression is appealing without being cheesy or forced.

Beautiful colors and sharpness. Lighting seems perfect. I'd probably crop out the logo part of the shirt, or clone it--there's too little there. And maybe the neck chain too!

That is one awesome facial expression. That is clearly a 'cool kid' look as if mom forced me into the studio and I may as well make the time miserable for her...hehe

The focus on the eyes, the choice of bright red shirt to highlight the eye color, the dramatic crop,, the darkness of the right side of the face - it works exceedingly well together to create an outstanding image.

Looking at your photo made me laugh. I just spent the day trying to photograph my 13 year old neice, she carries that same look. I tell you it wasn't easy to get a smile outa her! Well done!

beautiful colors, the blue eyes and red shirt compliment each other very well, making an interesting choice of where my eye wants to look first. i love all the attitude your youngings are giving you, its cracking me up.
