This really conveys the spitit of a child

Nice action! They look as having a lot of fun. Good contrast in the B&W.

Good action shot, and your use of BW was a good shot. Ditto on others' comments about no need for texture.

This is SO COOL! - The delight on her face is wonderful.

I'm all for the noise - that includes the textured noise - it's sort of enhancing the blur dynamic which is the essence of the shot. Strictly (or pedantically) speaking, I think noise is extraneous and irrelevant to context by definition. As these 'fuzzy bits' are neither extraneous nor irrelevant, then they're not really noise either. I think you're off to a flying start anyway, just about everything about this picture (use of b&w, composition, focus/not focus, blur/not blur and the models who won't do stuff like this when they're all grown up) is pretty damned impressive. So there.

Like the energy, but like others - texture off-putting a little

I like the B&W treatment and movement in the shot. Not sure if I like the noise or the texture layer.

You've captured the energy and fun of childhood very well here.

Nice sense of childhood fun here. I am not crazy about the added overlay, but if you like it that is all that matters. :)

Nicely done shot. Agree with prior suggestions, doesn't need the texture layer, image stands well on its own.

I wish I had half that kind of energy anymore. The blur definitely helps convey that energy. Well done!

I really like the movement and emotion of the shot, but I have to agree that I would try it without the texture added.

Kids this age are great! Always running around, but always purposeful. Great capture with both of the foreground kid's feet off the ground.

Oh, Charlene, I love this photo. I am a big fan of the artistic blur, and I think the motion adds even more delight and playfulness to the scene. I'm happy we'll be doing a side challenge together again! I love your work, and I love hanging out with you :)

She is totally lost in the game they are playing. Such a very poignant photo.

This is a really nice shot, I love the feeling of motion and energy. Not too sure about the paper texture you've added though, I think the shot is good enough to stand up on it's own without it.
