 I had this idea almost as soon as I saw the challenge but had to wait for the right conditions. This was taken at a local beach early Sunday morning before the challenge closed. I had made several trips that week to get the image I wanted and finally on the last available morning we had a nice sunrise.

The title “Leave only footprints” is something I have seen in marketing material from an eco-tourism company.

I like the sentiment and have adopted it in my philosophy when traveling I try to leave the least amount of impact on the environment as possible whilst still enjoying the natural beauty and culture of this world.

My prediction: 6.3 A bit of a bold prediction but
I think this has all the right ingredients for DPC. If I was voting this I would have given it a 6 or possibly a 7

Great job in post, the feet keep drawing my eye to the bottom of the frame, sort of a distraction, maybe walk the other way?

How, how did you leave such complete footprints? I've tried that and have to really press down even to get a whole foot (rather than just heel and toes). And I'm heavy"! Works well, I like it.

Cool idea. I like how the hills and sky are placed. Somehow the perpective and scale do not work for me, as it seems that the water is very far away, but the footsteps show that it is close by.
