Would have preferred to have the same amount of liquid in both glasses...I guess I'm being a "half-empty" kind of person with this comment... :-) 6 |

I really like the depth perception here, works really well. |

This is a great shot, I'm not really feeling it for the challenge but its a great shot none the less. Good job... |

Excellent comparison, I think I'd prefer the farther glass in focus, but that's pretty minor. 10 |

Cropped a little tight for my liking. Personally, I would have laft a little space above and below the front glass. Other than that I like it. Nice and simple. Good focus on the front glass. Lighting works well here. |

A very interesting set up for this challenge. I like the forced perspective, showing that it is point of view that allows one to judge something as a positive or negative. I would have liked to see a little higher contrast to this shot. Very well done. |

Very clever use of perspective (mental AND photographic!) |

a different color liquid in the glass may have helped make this photo more dramatic |

I wish you had left a tiny bit of space around the top and bottom of the glass in the foreground. Given the area left and right the bottom and top feel squeezed. Very tough subject matter well shot. |

Though someone else had the same idea, I really liked the way you did this. I think the way you set it up was poignant, you made your point well, and it was interesting to look at. It would perhaps have been even stronger had the "half full" glass been yellow, and the "half empty" one blue, but perhaps the simplicity of your shot is still best. I gave you a 10, nice work. :) |

Great take on the challenge! The image is very effectice - nice composition (but a bit crowded at the top), nice DoF. Lighting could have been a bit better. |

Lots of people had the same thought, and managed to execute the shot better than this. It needs COLOR somewhere in it, just to give it some zap !! |

one of those glasses looks half empty and the other looks half full, wait a minute.....I get it :-)
Good idea. |

The colors are a bit dull. Needs to be in true b&w or have some splash of color, maybe instead of water you could have used something colorful? |

looks like the crop might be just a hair too tight, but very clever idea :-) |
