I put an ice cube on fire. Yay.. I love how glue is extremely flammable. I really didn't know what I was doing. I wanted the ice cube to melt a little more, so it would look more interesting.. but I couldn't get the fire to stay in the right place.

Nicely captured. I like the color and and the position of the frame on the screen. The texture of the bubbles on the surface are really nice.

One of the best "fire and ice" pictures, but I think it is too ordinary to reach to the top.

nice capture of the flame. the surroundings could have been worked on a little more. maybe a mirror or solid black ground?

Not bad but, (don't you just hate those buts) the cropping seems a bit loose to me and the melting water on the tray or plate is a bit distracting. I know the ice melts as it gets hot but maybe if you had someone helping you and wiping up the water as you go? The coloration overall seems off to, not sure why. A 3

I like the lighting, and the flame is well exposed.

Interesting. The top of the flame looks a little out of focus or blurry. The lighting on the ice and pan has a strange cast to it that detracts from the photo somewhat. I like that your ice is an interesting shape and not a "standard" cube that you get out of your ice-maker.

Similar to my shot, focus is weak like my shot too. Good job and cool idea but I think we're both going to suffer in the scores!

white balance? Like the "burning ice" effect, though. Might be more interesting with a mirrored baseplate.

Nice composition, even if the fire and ice subject was broached by more than 20 people this time! :o) I like the warm colors, but it says more fire than ice to me.
