| side lighting like this really accentuates and emphasizes textures in skin. i think this is perfectly chosen for this shot |

Composition: Good job placing the eyes at the top of the frame.
Lighting/Exposure: I am loving the way the light falls off into shadow that isn't quite shadow. Retention of details is wonderful.
Pose: Very nice head tilt :)
Suggestions for Improvements: I am lamenting the loss of half your right ear. :)
Very nice first portrait. You command the lighting well. I look forward to seeing more. |

| texture and the eyes are amazing. Id love a discription of that beauty dish. I might like to see a bit more light on the left (viewer) side. |

| the first thought that came into my head was this, its one of those guys who is a pretty tough character, but underneath it all, he just wants to give you a hug. haha, i love the lighting to his eye, and i like how the important elements (the pierced eyebrow) are in shadow, but not lost in shadow, overall, awesome job. |
