 these are my original photographs all taken in mid 2007 ..


used sunrise as background layer and brought in trees in overlay blending mode ..
brought in the birds in colour burn blending mode and the car wash 'texture' in hue blending mode ..
the lightning was an alien skin xenofex filter in colour dodge blending mode .. you can find lightning brushes if you google them tho ...
and i intensified the sun's glow with a star brush ..
the white grass was a lady victoire foliage brush duplicated, warped and rotated in soft light blending mode ..
added flaming pear flood filter ..
did adjustment layers in levels, hue/saturation, curves, selective colour and colour balance ..

This is an amazing composite shot - you never cease to amaze me. You should put a bunch of these together and sell 'em as wallpapers or a screensaver.

That is just incredible, Roz. I think you should be doing childrens' picture/story books. Or maybe animations. A favourite for sure.

You have such and amazing vision - to be able to see all of these photos and come up with this other-worldly place. This makes me wish I could be there to see and touch all that is in the photo. Excellent!

You are so creative - you not only use the tools you have very well, but you make excellent use of your best resource - your imagination! You do stuff I could never think of. Gorgeous result here!

This is brilliant. One of my fav's. I know how much time you put into this Rozy (cause I had to get my own lunch...lol) and the final image is just too cool.

That is very cool. I have no idea how to do something like this, but I can only imagine the amount of time it takes. Looks like a hybrid painting/photograph.

Stare hard at the area just above and to the right of the ascending birds near the right side and tell me what you see....

A well-constructed composite, with painterly qualities suitable for the subject/genre -- nice job!

Now you have to write the story which accompanies the illustration ... ;-)
